What is science?
Well, I'll tell you what it's not. It's not just a collection of facts to be memorized. Science is a problem solving process that happens to develop pieces of knowledge from experimentation, and since we can't remember everything we figured out from that experimentation, we write it down. Science is also never finished - every time we learn something new, we have to fix and adjust that body of knowledge. Sure, there are controlled explosions occasionally, which make science more interesting, but most of the time you have to adjust one small variable and run the same experiment over and over until you figure out which adjustment to the variable solves your problem. And the reason you're able to read this right now has a lot to do with that body of knowledge that we've developed over the years through the scientific process...
